Why take your practice and wine tasting out of Cheyenne? Vintages and Little Lotus Yoga have curated an event just for you right at hOMe.

As the holidays approach be sure to take time for self care. The holidays are so exciting and fun filled, but it is easy to lose sight of your personal needs in the fog of holiday planning, cheese boards and cocktails.

Schedule time to be mindful and connect with your friends and body.

Join Theresa Hansen, ERYT for a beautiful pairing of breath and body movements upon your mat. Taste delicious wine before, during and after your flow.

When we move our awareness to the present moment we are better equipped to enjoy the pleasures of life. Life sounds more beautiful feels more easeful and tastes sweeter when we slow down.

Through our conscious efforts we optimize our senses to fully experience the flavors of our wine and the movements of our bodies.

We will flow at 6 pm, please bring your yoga mat and dress comfortably.

Please Venmo @THansen00 $25 to reserve your spot. This covers your

yoga class and your first glass of vino.

Please be aware of the train crossing as this most often delays people. Plan to come around I80 and in by the animal shelter.

The story so far……

Theresa is a Wyoming native who loves her community.  Attended the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!) graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education.  Upon graduation she left Wyoming for her first teaching job.  While in Arizona she dabbled in yoga and acquired her master's degree in special education from Northern Arizona University (Go Lumberjacks!).  Her longtime boyfriend, now husband Joel accepted his first job out of college in Cheyenne.  Theresa returned to Wyoming and the rest is, what do they say?  History.

While teaching school and working out at the YMCA, Theresa stumbled into a yoga class and from there got her Kids Yoga Certification from Rainbow Kids Yoga and started children's yoga classes.  Her yoga teacher encouraged her to get her 200-hour certification. She studied with Shannon Paige at OM Time in Boulder with wonderful guest teachers Gina Caputo and Amy Ippoliti.  She started instructing adults and found that she enjoyed it.  At this time Cheyenne did not have a yoga studio, so she opened one.  2012 Little Lotus Yoga was born. She enjoyed teaching in a studio, but felt pulled to connect with other small businesses, the first being Freedom’s Edge Brewery where Detox Retox was born and continues.  Her outreach to small businesses has increased and continues to grow.  You can find Theresa at 8 distinct locations around Cheyenne.

A recent yoga pilgrimage to India opened her eyes and heart to the realization that yoga is not a place.  Yoga is all around us and within us.  Upon her return, she made the difficult decision to close her brick-and-mortar space and shift her energies into her community.  She can reach more people with her teachings when she puts herself where they are.

Theresa has over 15 years of experience instructing yoga and does so with such grace.  She weaves a beautiful and meaningful theme throughout every class and teaches in a way that is nurturing yet pushes you to the edge of your comfort zone and a bit beyond.

When she is not on her mat or at school, she enjoys cheering on the Pokes, hiking, camping, traveling the world, going to concerts, loving her fur baby, Bodhi (who may join us on the mat on occasion) and sharing these experiences with her husband Joel.
